Can I use a wood burning stove in my tent?
Yes, in our breathable fire retardant cotton tents. You'll need a flashing kit to fit the flue safely, unless your tent has a pre-cut stove hole.
Never use a stove in an Oxford tent or under a protector cover.
Is it safe to use a stove in my tent?
Yes, in our fire retardant 320gsm tents, as long as the stove is used correctly:
- read your stove's manual before you light it
- fit the flue with the right flashing kit
- keep a carbon monoxide alarm in the tent
- keep the tent well ventilated and anything that could burn away from the stove
Never use a stove in an Oxford tent or under a protector cover. We can't be responsible for damage or injury caused by misuse.

Which tents have a pre-cut stove hole?
Our fire retardant 320gsm tents in 4m and 5m only. You'll still need a flashing kit to fit the flue.
Does the stove come with a flashing kit?
No, it's sold separately. The stove's product page tells you which flashing kit fits.
Which flashing kit do I need?
It depends on the stove:
- Traditional stove and pizza ovens: 75 to 160mm XL kit
- Classic and portable stoves: 45 to 80mm straight, or 45 to 100mm angled kit
Each stove's product page lists the right one.
Will my stove fit the pizza oven stand?
Yes, every stove except the portable stove.
Can I buy extra flue sections?
Yes, search for "flue" in our shop.
